Two Named 2011 Goldwater Scholars
Nathan Huey '13 and Joseph Murphree '12 have been awarded Goldwater Scholarships, the nation's most competitive science scholarship for undergraduates.

Historic Streak Concludes
Swimming fans witnessed the end of an era when the Kenyon Lords were narrowly defeated by one point at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The Lords' record of 31 consecutive national titles is the longest winning streak in the history of college athletics. Watch a video about the streak.
Young Alumni Kenyon Fund Challenge
In progress until April 30! Graduates in the classes of '08, '09, '10, and the very soon-to-be grads of the Class of 2011 are competing for a $50,000 needs-based scholarship to benefit an incoming Kenyon student in the Class of 2015.
Register for Reunion Weekend
The deadline to register for
Reunion Weekend is May 6. Preregistration is strongly encouraged to guarantee campus housing and seating at class dinners.
Shaka Sensation
Fans of basketball, Kenyon, and Facebook enjoyed a special form of March Madness as media sensation Shaka Smart '99 coached the VCU Rams to the Final Four in the NCAA Division I basketball tournament. In a show of support for Smart, more than 200 Kenyon alums formed the Shaka Smart Inspires Kenyon group on Facebook, chatting online throughout the tournament and replacing their profile photos with Smart's picture.
