Commencement Weekend
The Class of 2009 graduated on Saturday, May 16, inside the Kenyon Athletic Center due to inclement weather. Baccalaureate and Commencement speeches are now available online, plus links to photos by Jeff Force '08 and Christian Martinez-Canchola '12.
New Dean of Students
Kenyon names Henry P. Toutain, a long-time dean at Gustavus Adolphus College, as its next dean of students.
Best in the Nation
The Alumni Bulletin has been named the best college magazine in the nation. The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education has named the Bulletin the Robert Sibley Magazine of the Year. According to the judges, the Bulletin is "firing on all cylinders."
Ten Fulbright Fellows
Ten recent Kenyon graduates have been named winners of the J. William Fulbright Fellowship, continuing the College's success as a top producer among small colleges of Fulbright fellows.
Boren Scholarship Winner
Shaakira Raheem '12 has been chosen as a recipient of the prestigious Boren National Security Education Program (NSEP) scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year.
