Gotta Love Local
When Kenyon threw an all-campus picnic to celebrate the end of the semester, the menu reflected the College's leadership in the local-food movement. The picnic was a showcase for Kenyon's Food for Thought program, which not only brings local fare into the campus dining halls but also immerses students in the surrounding community, where they study food issues first-hand, forge rewarding relationships with farmers, and create museum-quality exhibits to share their findings. Lords' Tournament Trail Ends
After winning its tenth North Coast Athletic Conference title, the Lords were forced to make an early exit from the NCAA Division III men's tennis championship tournament. The Lords, who received a first-round bye, were ousted from the second round of the tournament after the Kalamazoo College Hornets stung them with a 5-1 defeat.

Election Results
The Office of Alumni and Parent Programs is pleased to announce the successful candidates in the 2006-07 Alumni Council and alumni trustee election. The four new Alumni Council members are Laura A. Plummer '85 of Bloomington, Indiana, Christopher D. Barth '94 of Decorah, Iowa, Kristin A. Meister '00 of New York, New York, and Todd P. Leavitt '73 P'10 of Santa Monica, California. The two alumni elected to service as alumni trustees are Jeffrey A. Bell '84 of Kirkland, Washington, and Lisa Betson Resnik '89 of Louisville, Kentucky.
