Provost's Student Research Grants help support student research experiences, sponsored by Kenyon faculty. While a range of research experiences may be funded, priority will be given to funding student travel for research purposes, particularly for presenting results at conferences. The program is administered by the Associate Provosts' Office. Some academic departments and programs also have funds to support student research, and if a student is seeking funds to present results of a Summer Science Project, the student may request to use remaining funds from their supplies budget to help support the trip.
To apply for a grant, the student should fill out this form that will get sent to the Associate Provosts' office. The student should also have the Kenyon faculty sponsor provide a letter of support for the project (which may be in the form of an email attachment).
Proposal will be reviewed at the end of the first full week of classes each semester. Students will be notified of the status of their proposals by the end of the second full week of classes.
