Literature in Translation

The courses on this page are offered in the Departments of Classics, English, and Modern Languages and Literatures, and in the Asian Studies Concentration. Each course uses texts originally written in languages other than English. However, since the classes are all taught in English, and the texts are read in translation, no previous knowledge of an ancient or modern foreign language is required. For a full description of the class, please refer to the home department in which it is taught.
